  • Seismic Wavelet (Seismic Wave Elements – Wavelet Types).
  • Seismic data Phase & Polarity Convention.
  • Direct Hydrocarbon Indicators (DHI).
  • Vertical Resolution, Tuning Thickness & Detectability.
  • Lateral Resolution & Fresnel Zone.

Day Two: 2D/3D/4D Conventional - Broadband Seismic Data Acquisition & Processing

  • 2D/3D/4D Onshore Conventional & Broadband Seismic data Acquisition
  • 2D/3D/4D Offshore Conventional & Broadband Seismic data Acquisition.
  • Undershooting & Ocean Bottom Cable (OBC).
  • NAZ, MAZ, WAZ, RAZ, AAZ & FAZ Surveys.
  • Offshore Geo-Hazard Site Survey & Seabed Imaging.
  • Bore-Hole Seismic & Vertical Seismic Profiling (VSP).
  • Convolutional Model of the Earth.
  • Seismic Processing Workflow & main concepts.

Day Three: Seismic Reservoir Characterization Part-1 (Seismic Wavelet Determination & 3D Full - Specific Bandwidth Seismic Attributes)

  • Statistical & Deterministic Wavelet Determination.
  • Wavelet Extraction Sensitivity Analysis.
  • Check shot (CS) data QC & Velocity Analysis.
  • Well to Seismic Tie (Synthetics) Sensitivity Analysis.
  • Structural & Stratigraphic Interpretation.
  • Full Band-Width Conventional Seismic Attributes & DHI Analysis.
  • Specific Band-Width Spectral Decomposition Analysis.
  • Red-Green-Blue (RGB) Color-Blending.         

Day Four: Seismic Reservoir Characterization Part-2 (Time to Depth Conversion, HCIIP Estimation, AVO, Inversion & Fluid-Lithology Separation)

  • Depth Conversion using different methods, Velocity Models building & Sensitivity Analysis.
  • Statistical & Deterministic Volumetrics / Hydrocarbon-In-Place (HCIIP) estimation.
  • Prospect Evaluation & Chance/Probability of Success (COS/POS) determination.
  • Risked & Recoverable Hydrocarbon-In-Place (HCIIP) estimation.
  • Amplitude Variation with Offset (AVO) Analysis.
  • Rock-Physics Cross Plots & Inversion Feasibility Study.
  • Pre-Stack Inversion & Post-Stack Inversion Analysis.
  • Fluid & lithology Separation.

Day Five: Seismic Reservoir Characterization Part-3 (From Seismic cube to Facies cube to generate Gas-Sand & Water-Sand Geobodies)

  • Converting Seismic Cube to Inverted Impedance Cube.
  • Converting Inverted Impedance cube to Seismic Facies Cube (Gas Sand – Water Sand – Shale /background).
  • Generating Gas Sand & Water-Sand Geobodies from Seismic data.
  • Geo-Hazard Analysis over proposed well location.
  • Optimizing the best Well Location using integrated geophysical tools.
  • Round Table & Discussion.
