Course Description
An audit is a systematic review of operations and practices to ensure that relevant requirements are met. A safety audit is a structured, methodical assessment and evaluation of how workplace activities affect safety and health. This training focuses on the outcomes required to conduct Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H) audit. It involves systematic examination against audit criteria to determine conformance with planned arrangements and the effectiveness of the organization’s approaches to managing ES&H. it covers the conduct of an ES&H audit including developing an audit plan and tools to gather ES&H information and data, ensuring client/management liaison and briefing, arranging access to information, setting up entry and exit meetings and coordinating evaluation/audit and audit team against timelines and the submission of reports.
