Course Description
This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively work on electrical systems in compliance with legal and organizational standards. It covers the principles of electrical safety, risk assessment, permit-to-work systems, and the process of obtaining electrical authorization.

Day 3: Safe Systems of Work

  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and equipment
  • Ensuring safe isolation of electrical systems
  • Preparing work sites for live and de-energized work

Day 4: Competency and Practical Skills for Electrical Work

  • Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections
  • Handling emergency situations and fault conditions
  • Hands-on exercises: Applying LOTO and safe work practices

Day 5: Compliance, Authorization Process, and Certification

  • Steps to obtain and maintain electrical authorization
  • Compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
  • Documentation and record-keeping for electrical work
  • Final assessment: Practical and theoretical evaluation
  • Issuance of electrical authorization certificates
Accreditation

Rectus attendance certificate will be issued to all attendees completing minimum of 80% of the total course duration.
