  • Introduction to process mapping: benefits and types of diagrams (flowcharts, SIPOC, value stream maps)
  • Tools for mapping processes: Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, and others
  • Creating process maps for current-state processes (As-Is)
  • Designing future-state processes (To-Be) using process models
  • Analyzing process bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies
  • Case study: Mapping and analyzing a real process

Day 3: Process Improvement Methodologies

  • Lean principles: Eliminating waste (TIMWOOD), Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping
  • Six Sigma methodology: DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)
  • Theory of Constraints: Identifying and managing bottlenecks
  • Total Quality Management (TQM) and its impact on process improvement
  • FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and root cause analysis
  • Applying these methodologies in practice: Group exercises and case studie

Day 4: Optimization Techniques and Tools

  • Introduction to process optimization: objectives, constraints, and goals
  • Identifying optimization opportunities using performance metrics and data analysis
  • Techniques for optimization: Linear programming, simulation modeling, and queuing theory
  • Using data to optimize process flow and resource allocation
  • Introduction to process automation and digital tools for optimization

Day 5: Implementing and Monitoring Process Optimization

  • Developing and implementing an action plan for process improvements
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measuring process effectiveness
